Since 1958, Moreland Battery has been the premier battery specialist in Metro Atlanta. We are passionate about what we do, and with customer service being our focus we make sure every customer is well taken care of. 

Moreland Battery started in 1958 on Flat Shoals Ave in Atlanta, Georgia. Later we moved to Moreland Avenue in the late 1960s. In the beginning, we operated with three employees and sold both new and refurbished batteries. It did not take long before Moreland Battery was one of the major distributors for AC Delco. In June of 1999, we moved to a new location in Conley, Georgia. The first month started very slow. You would have thought a four mile journey south on Moreland Ave to Thurman Rd would not be a big deal. It was. Back then we had no smart phones, only phone books and maps. After a few months our customers started to find the new location and business grew each year. In June 2015, we opened a second location on Tara Boulevard in Jonesboro, Georgia. It has grown tremendously since then. Jonesboro is now our home office with a large facility to service all of our customers and locations. In August 2022 we opened Odyssey Battery Sales on Washington St in Covington, Georgia and has been instrumental in reaching East Atlanta. Our fourth location was opened in October 2024 on East Memorial Dr in Dallas, Georgia and will reach all of West Atlanta.
